I hate the interface on this thing, it’s too many words without enough icons, it makes it look like a simple mp3 player.

Thsi looks amazing I have to say *16 dayss!* I seriously can’t wait. Like I want it to come out NOW! It looks fricking like amazing.. and the fact that you can buy movies for like 5 dollars and they act as dvds pretty much is amazing. I’m in love already. Haha.

i have a 32gb ipod touch (my 2nd one) and i would have to say they SUCK!! yea apps and games are nice but the fuctionallity i get with that ipod is shit. it take it about 20secs to start. 5secs to get to a song. and it some times freezes!!! my next mp4 player will be the zune hd hands down

i prefer old technology over new due to the fact that it lasts longer. i have a Panasonic radio thing from the 70’s still works today like brand new i have 2 new radio/cd both get bad reception and
gets disc errors (Sony/Aiwa) brands

What? This is not even close to the UI of the iPod Touch. What are you talkin, fool? O.o;
The iPod Touch doesn’t even *have* menus, it’s just a screen full of icons. This one is more organized and more fluid. It doesn’t freeze up like the Touch. Things slide left, right, up, down, twist, and fade/flip into the background. Apps on the iPod Touch open by growing and stretching over the previous screen. I think this on UI is way cooler.

does anyone know if there is going to be a game update like for the first zunes and i have a 120 gb thats still works great but i have only used abt 30 gbs on it should i trade it in? cause this one seems amazing

I have already preordered the 32gb one.
My iPod touch is still randomly freezing and bugging out, and I HATE it’s shiny metal back that is sticky and attracts scratches just like it does dumbass apple fanboys.
I loved my 120gb zune but I needed to email and check websites, and now that zune has it, my iPods as good as a toilit to shit on.
And the fact that it integrates with Xbox Live is orsum too

The screen is only 0.2 inches smaller, but the funny thing is, if you watch a 16:9 movie on your precious itouch you get bars, top and bottom. So, your screen is same viewing size. And half-assed contraption? Everything about the zune, hardware wise is new/newish. Tegra chip, oled display, HD radio. And the only real “thing” Apple has on Zune is apps, but apps are coming to the Zune. So, ultimately that argument will be moot. Got any other half-assed comments?

How on earth is the Zune’s twist menu/UI the same as ipod’s? Exactly, it’s not. And get a grip, apple isn’t god’s gift to the mp3 market. The only thing apple is good for is competition. They bring out a good product to challenge others.

this is what makes microsofts efforts all the more sad. the ui of the ipod touch is over two years old, and instead of innovating, microssoft still chose to “copy and paste” the ui of the current ipod touch. again nothing original.

The touchscreen was almost a passe technology until apple got their hands on it. Over 2 years later, and the entire industry is still playing catch up. All these feeble attempts to recreate the ipod/iphone platform(including this crap zune hd) fall way short,and must be reassuringly refreshing to apple, as a matter of fact the only we are having this verbal exchange is because of the innovation of apple. apple forced microsoft to do something that they dont normally do, think. i’ll pray for you

More useless features you mean. Who’s actually hyped about HD radio, seriously dude. As far as the OLED screen goes, thats almost useless considering how small the screen is. The technology in the ZUNE is crippled by the shortsighted “we can do it too UI and hardware. Nothing original inspired the zune. Oh wait thats a lie, Apples original ideas inspired this half ass contraption.
