Zune error

this is my zune something went wrong an error occured and deleted everything formatted it and this happened!!!!!???????????

lol thats funny my zune makes me mad too it has its monthly issues with the songs not working and i end up erasing my zune 30 and putting all that music back on. now it has a problem with reading and storing the memory..its capcity is about 4gb and any after that i get a zune is not responding message.

My 80 gb wont format either. I’m pissed.

Mine got stuck at format and wouldn’t work its just a hardware issue with the zune 30’s i believe.

I finally got it working! Here’s what I did:
1. Reboot the Zune with left button + Up on the middle button
2. While it reboots push and hold both left and right button. This should format the Zune
3. Power down the Zune with left button + Down on the middle button
4. Plug the Zune in your computer. When the Zune software starts and prompts for a firmware upgrade click Install
5. After installing the firmware synchronise the Zune with your content

you sire must have have a virus i have a deleted everything it formated but it didn’t have this problem it just says contact support

Hi. I had a problem like that, and I could resolved it. I press the buttons combination to erase the firmware and then I update the firmware with the software zune.
The buttons combination is: return button + left pad + central button, press all this buttons at the same time.

The same thing happened to mine when I tried to update to the latest firmware!!! I contacted support and they told me if I shipped them mine, they would send me a refurbished one for $109.00!!!! Are they out of their f’n mind??? Woot just had refurbished ones for $90.00. If you think about it, $109.00 plus giving them mine (which my just be a software issue) and allowing them to resell it, is the equivalence of around $200. Why don’t they just tell me to go back to Apple?
