XBOX 360 Repair 3 Red Lights of Death Rrod X-Clamp Fix

This is a quick vid on fixing the 3 RLod in the Xbox 360. There are NO swaps in this video…it is the same xbox from start to finish. I’ve done about 20 of these the same way. If you want a more permanent in depth fix check my other videos

What if you skipped all of the taking apart and cleaning stuff and just unplugged the fan and let it over heat and then plug it back in? I’m all about short cuts. Just curious.

LoL? No Xbox only games, maybe if you came out of your basement you would notice a few things. Like one of the greatest FPS to come out.. I think they might be calling Halo, I might have that wrong though. Oh, Gears of War just to name another FPS. Maybe you like racing games, Forza’s a good one, maybe Dirt? My point is, there are plenty of Xbox exclusive games and it preforms just as good as your 15lb poor blue ray player. Find a forum to talk about your PS3

idc how many 360s I go through, the online service is more reliable imo, there’s more games, FFXIII is now coming to 360, Forza 3 is hella better than GT5, Halo!!, and it has netflix

seriously if you use your brain a little more you can see how the xbox is a cheap piece of crap. got a HD player (blue ray better) pay for online but better (ps3 free haha)…how much you payed for your online so far??? there are no xbox only possible games (ps3 - mgs4,kz2,uncharted2) fees to get fixed when warranty runs out.
How much money you wasted so far getting this box? ………

lol very true, however they don’t always fix the 360s with rrod, it’s easier for them and cheaper to just ship you a new one, and seeming that the newest 2009 released 360s are fixed completely (no rrod ever) you’ll be getting a brand new 360 for 100 rather than 179. that’s what they did with my elite anyway =].
yeah i got all console atm but i just play the ps3 constantly, and xbox just for odst

it work iv made 60 bucks off this VID alread i fixed 3 of my friends 360 for 20bucks each. LMAO such a simple concept all u did was a system reset my VITAMIX blender does the same shit. but u should put a piece of laminated paper or thin lam card board box over the GPU Heat sink since it will now tend to over heat.(heat sink under CD reader) it drastically improves AIR flow for better cooling.

after messing around with it a bit longer the 3 red rings come up when i restart it but it doesnt heat up

My 360 has the three red lights lighting up as of yesterday, my damn warranty just expired and xbox wants me to send it in for repairs for the low low price of 100 bucks. I told them I had been a loyal customer since 2003 and I’m not sending it in for 100 bucks plus shipping when I can get a new one for 179. I also told them I would probably just forget it and buy a PS3 lol.

I’m still trying to fix my xbox 360 elite cuz it haz RROD too! I heard rubber washers work best! as for size 8 I’ll buy it. As for the artic silver 5, I already have it and put it on both, but all I need are the washers and that’s it. Just two question, do I put the X clamps back on after the washers are in place? also what is the name of this song? It sounds really cool! PLZ Reply!

I’m doing a repair, and my 360 has the heatsinks on top of the mobo, with the x clamps under them but NOT on the bottom of the board… I can’t get to them… Please help?
