From episode 702, My Hard Labor “Carla talks about Warthogs and Jackals while playing the video game, both elements of the Halo universe. However, the game that Turk and Carla are playing is not Halo, it’s Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (that wasn’t even released for the Xbox 360 at the time being).”

Why is everybody raging about Halo now? In my eyes, it is just an okay game, not worth arguing about. And yes that is my opinion, I think it is overrated.
I wonder how long it takes till someone starts flaming me for not liking it =_=

My arguments have been in no way immature. And I already said I was wrong when I forgot about Ocarina of Time, but still, if IGN/GT etc were to make a best games of all time list, Halo 3 wouldn’t even close to the top. As for better games, etc etc. It’s all opinion.

lol, metaicritic is retarded, they base half their reviews on articles that doing even have a score on them,. Check gamerankings, they average pretty much every review they get from IGN, game iinformer, Gamespot, etc.
Metacritic is where you go to watch Dark Knight and Family Guy reviews, not for video games.
Well that shows you that yyou can’t always look at averages, especially on ports, cuz Halo 2 for PC got a much lower average score the original.
HL2 is 2% higher, lol. Not a big diff.

Actually it’s a 96% for Half Life 2 (Check Megacritic, and HL2 for the Xbox was a horrible port, the PC version is arguably the best game of all time. Metacritic doesn’t have any aggregate scores for Ocarina of Time (they’re the only reliable people for checking that stuff). And even if Hl2 isn’t the highest rated of all time, it’s MUCH HIGHER than Halo 3. I like the other games in the Halo series, just not Halo 3’s community. And if you think otherwise, you’re probably one of those people.

Well Halo: CE’s aggregate score is 95%, Half-Life 2 for Xbox is 89%, and the one for PC is like 95%.
Call of Duty 4 is 94%, Bioshock is 94%,
However Ocarina of Time(Best adventure ever), is 97%, Twilight Princess(Also best) is 95%.
So about that being best reviewed of all-time, lol, nah uh. As for shooters,that probably goes to Modern Warfare, and Modern Warfare 2 will probably score even higher.
Most friends I have i met on Halo, dudes are nice, guys that say good game after a match, etc.

Halo 2 was an excellent game, but you’re wrong. Halo 3 is not the most played online series ever. Counter Strike currently holds that record (Much older, still a lot of players due to Source). I never said Halo 3 was a bad game (although it’s a little overrated), I said that the community is horrible, and I’m right. And you’re wrong again, I already told you, Half Life 2 is the currently the best reviewed game of all time. Halo 3 only holds an aggregate score of 93% (Many games have that score)

Well Halo 2 broke a bunch of video game records, which Halo 3 then eclipsed, it’s also the most played online series EVER, and the fastest selling game of all-time.
Halo also got game of the year awards for pretty much every entry as well as nothing lower than a 9/10 in EVERY review magazine/site/dude down the block.
Go ahead and research it. lol
That’s why JD and Turk are playin Halo, not half life.
Also best of all-time on reviews? Sure that would go to Zelda: Ocarina of Time or somethin.

Still the best? You do realize Half Life 2 is best game of all time based on reviews (Who I trust more than your opinion) and that the game following it is Bioshock. Halo 3 isn’t even near the top of the list. And it does have the worst community of all time, I have been playing games for years and have never encountered a community as bad as Halo 3’s. I’ll stick to playing games on my PC where people are respectful, and there are a lot less shit talkers.

1. Yea I know exactly what brits you’re talkin bout, I only encounter them when I play early in the morning thp, and there’s 100x more on Gears and CoD.
2. Actually I’ve only encountered grown men saying nigger, and I’m actually black so I should be more pissed bout that than you, lol.
3. There’s shit talkers in every game on the planet man.
Halo is still the best, and even tho they’re plenty of douches, I encounter more silent/cool/nice guys than douches. Like JD, Turk, and myself. lol

I gave Halo 3 to my friend because I couldn’t join a fucking game without:
1. A brit trashtalking america (Usually with the typical american counter “BRITFAG”
2. A little kid saying nigger over and over
3. Douchebags who love to talk shit
