Is it worth getting and Xbox 360 Elite this Christmas? I own a PS3 and prefer it to the 360, but I really like the 360.

My friend lent me halo 3, but I didn’t notice that there was a crack. it actually broke inside my 360 and now I have to go in there and take it out. I dont have warenty or how ever you spell it.
