Classic Game Room HD - DOOM 3 for Xbox review
June 25th, 2010 by zune
Classic Game Room HD reviews DOOM 3 Limited Collector’s Edition for Xbox, playable on Xbox 360. This game is also available for PC. Doom 3 Collector’s Edition contains Doom 3, Doom 2 and the original DOOM! From id Software, Vicarious Visions and Activision comes one of the greatest horror/sci-fi shooters ever created. You play as a marine sent to Mars who winds up fighting hordes of monsters unleashed by teleporter experiments gone wrong (don’t they always). Break out your shotgun, minigun, chainsaw, BFG 9000 and Soul Cube and go to work slaying waves of enemy monsters, infected creeps and spider things. This CGR review of Doom 3 has gameplay from Doom 3 on Xbox showing game play from Doom 3 in HD action.

@gandalf236
You can’t play it on an arcade. You need a Hard Drive. They are cheep now if you want to buy one.

Wolfenstein is doom’s older brother so he’s like the grand-uncle of shooting games:P

Doom 3 was a good game. I thought it got somewhat tedious after a while, but the sound and graphics hold up really well. This collector’s edition is a great version thanks to the addition of Doom 1 and 2.

Still need to finish Resurrection of Evil, but watching this makes me want to go back and play this one & be scared senseless yet again. It was as scary as it was difficult. Lots of reloading when it comes to this game at certain points, but it was hella fun. Only thing that I disliked was when they took all your weapons away at one point, which is irritating for ammo conservators like me. I’ve played too many Resident Evil games to know better.
